Welcome to new members of the dotint.careers community

A very warm thank you to Mariana Castaño Cano for being such an enthusiastic early adopter, supporter, and ambassador for dotint.careers.

If you are joining through Mariana's invitation, welcome, we are glad to have you here. There's more than 100 of you who joined in the last 24 hours!

dotint.careers is still in a free test period, and this period will continue at least until June 2026. That means you can explore the platform, see how it reads your profile, and help us hone our service to perfection before general availability.

Please do ask questions, report confusing moments, and send suggestions. You can use the question-mark support widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform. You can also simply reply to notifications you receive from the system, or write to our provisional support email address at dotint@spherical.horse.

One useful place to visit after you've submitted your CV and polished it in the resulting web form is Preferences.

For some users, the system may offer internships. That is not always wrong: early-career professionals may actively want internships, fellowships, traineeships, or other entry routes into international organizations. Indeed, we are even planning a special billing plan for students! But if you are looking for proper jobs only, we do not always know this unless you tell us. If you have a long and established career, the system can often infer that internships are probably not what you are looking for. For younger professionals, the signal is much less clear, so your preferences matter.

On the Preferences page, you can adjust your career interests, for example by telling the system that you are not interested in internships. You can also use the free-text preferences field to describe what your ideal role looks like, what you are trying to avoid, and where you want your international career to go next. The system will take your preferences into consideration when looking for and scoring opportunities for you.

You also now have your own referral link on the Invite and Earn page. You can use it to invite others to dotint.careers. Referrals earn monthly points, which can be redeemed for continued free use of the service and, after the system becomes generally available, cash rewards.

Thank you for being part of this early community. Your profiles, questions, suggestions, and referrals help us build dotint.careers into a more useful platform for people pursuing international careers.
